Marquis Who’s Who was established in 1898 and promptly began publishing biographical data in 1899. More than 126 years ago, its founder, Albert Nelson Marquis, established a standard of excellence with the first publication of Who’s Who in America. Marquis Who’s Who is a long-standing biographical database that features short biographies of notable individuals, particularly those with achievements in various fields. It has been publishing biographies since 1898, starting with “Who’s Who in America”. The database is updated regularly and available online as well as in print.
